Sinopse
O drama é uma fantasia onde a Coreia do Sul é um país de monarquia constitucional com seu rei, rainha e príncipe. Lee Jae Ha, o Príncipe que deveria ser o Segundo da Coreia do Sul e fica noivo com uma instrutora do exército, Kim Hang Ah, filha de uma família influente da Coréia do Norte, por meio de um casamento arranjado, depois que ambos são encontrados em uma "situação especial" . Uma vez que o despreocupado e franco, Lee Jae Ha começa a trilhar seu caminho de vingança como rei, depois que seu irmão mais velho é morto em um atentado durante seu noivado. E como ambos Jae Ha e Hang Ah lentamente se apaixonam um pelo outro, apesar do choques e brigas no início da relação, eles se encontram cada vez mais à mercê de fatores políticos que anteriormente os uniu e que agora quer que eles sejam separados.

Plot :
